What it's like
The pool sits beside the creek near the centre of town, filled with salt water and a calm alternative to the bay beaches. Huskisson was once a shipbuilding town, and the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum nearby tells that story if the kids need a dry afternoon. The bay beaches are a short walk away.
When to go
The pool opens on 1 September and closes for winter on 31 May. After heavy rain, poor water quality in Currambene Creek can close it until things improve.
Getting there and facilities
The pool is in Huskisson, close to the town centre and the creek, with cafes and the waterfront a short walk away. The pool's phone number is (02) 4406 2022.
Good to know
Entry is free. Call ahead after heavy rain, when water quality can close the pool.
