The Mollymook Bogey Hole is a small natural rock pool on the headland between Mollymook Beach and Collers Beach. It's free, swimmable around high tide and a safe, shallow paddling spot for kids at low tide, so time your visit to the tide chart.

What it's like
This is a pool the sea made, not a council. It's small, with only a few metres deep enough to really swim, so think dip, float and a peer at the rock pool life rather than laps. At low tide it turns into a shallow, sheltered paddling pool that small children love. The headland gives wide views up and down the coast.
When to go
For a proper swim, go at or near high tide; for a few hours either side of low tide it's too shallow. Calm days are best. For small children, low tide on a calm day is ideal.
Getting there and facilities
Drive through the Mollymook golf course to the parking area near the water, or walk around the headland from Mollymook Beach. Toilets, change rooms and a shower are about 200 m away. Mollymook's cafes are a short drive, and Ulladulla's sea pool is about five minutes further south.
Good to know
There's no lifeguard on duty. The rock platform is slippery and can be washed by waves in a swell.
